[RedM][VORP] Macabre Funfair | 10 Fairground Rides, Games & Attractions
# Macabre Funfair
Bring your community together for a day at the fair. Macabre Funfair combines ten attractions with period-styled wooden stalls, painted signs, lanterns and interactive games for your RedM server.
Ride the Figure Eight coaster, race around the bumper-car arena, test your quick draw or challenge friends to beat your score. There are social attractions too, from comic photo boards to the Kiss or Slap booth.
## What's included?
- **Figure Eight Coaster** — a timber roller coaster with four two-seat carts, front boarding stairs and banisters.
- **Bumper Cars** — a dedicated arena, colourful cars, player-controlled driving, collisions and impact audio.
- **Bull Riding** — timed inputs, progressively harder rounds, persistent character scores and a bounded riding area.
- **Winchester Air Rifles** — a first-person shooting gallery with moving targets, a 60-second challenge and a leaderboard.
- **High Striker** — time your swings, send the weight towards the bell and compete for the best score.
- **Beat the Outlaw** — a first-person revolver quickdraw challenge. Hit the painted outlaw before he fires; surrounding board space does not count. Rankings prioritise successful duels, then reaction time.
- **Dunk the Fool** — one player takes the seat while another aims three throws at the target. A drifting cursor makes hitting the centre a challenge, with impact and splash sounds when you succeed.
- **Kiss or Slap** — take a seat and wait for another player to request an interaction. The seated player chooses whether to kiss, slap or decline.
- **Comic Photo Boards** — wooden fairground photo cutouts with individual face-hole interactions and a photo camera.
- **Helter Skelter** — climb the interior stairs and take a mat ride down the slide.
## Build the fair you want
The attractions are packaged as **ten separate resources**, rather than one resource that forces every attraction to load.
**Nine resources include their own YMAP placements.** Enable the rides and stalls you want through their individual `ensure` lines, and leave the others disabled. Their maps load with their respective resources. The air-rifle gallery uses scripted placement instead of a YMAP and is independently selectable in exactly the same way.
An example startup configuration is included. Keep the individual resource names, enable your chosen attractions, and you're ready to configure your fair. Supplied placements are included; relocating a mapped attraction requires updating its YMAP and matching interaction coordinates together.
A small shared animation resource is included for the coaster and bumper cars. Keep it enabled when using either ride; the attractions themselves remain independently selectable.
## Character-based leaderboards
Air Rifles, High Striker, Beat the Outlaw and Bull Riding use **VORP character identities** for saved nicknames and scores. Different characters on the same account have separate records.
These competitive games require `vorp_core` and a loaded character. Leaderboard data is saved in JSON files within the resources, so the pack does not require a separate SQL leaderboard database. Preserve those files when updating.
## Requirements
- RedM with OneSync enabled.
- **VORP Core** for the four competitive games and their character-based leaderboards.
- A compatible **xsound** resource for Bumper Cars; it is a declared dependency of that resource.
The full collection is **not advertised as standalone**. The remaining attractions have no VORP dependency in their current implementation. VORP Core and xsound are dependencies, not bundled downloads.
## Notes
- Attractions can be selected individually; do not run duplicate copies of the same resource or YMAP.
- The dunk tank uses a translucent visual water surface with splash effects, not an engine swimming volume.
- The carousel, Ferris wheel, stockade, Coming Soon stand, mirror experiment and unfinished arm-wrestling conversion are not included.
Ten attractions, one collection — choose what fits your server and make it your own fairground.
